Searching for Knut
*And by hot, I mean that it was sunny and 85 degrees outside and the guy was wearing a full body suit of fur!
I've been in Berlin since Saturday and I love it! Mostly been checking out the art galleries and funky shops in the former East Berlin neighborhood of Mitte where I am staying.

This Mitte gallery of contemporary photography incorporated some elements of the building's older structure into the new renovation. Usually, this is not even possible because much of the city was obliterated by bombings during World War 2. However, also because so much was destroyed, the city has been able to add amazing new architecture to its cityscape since the reunification.
This neon sign says: All art has been contemporary. It hangs outside the Altes Museum, which currently houses ancient Egyptian artifacts.
