DC arts commission Art Salon. Tonight!

Seeking to uphold Sargent’s notion of the necessity of dialogue in an artistic community, DCCAH is hosting its monthly Art Salon at the Corcoran Gallery of Art. Tonight, join visual artists Brandon Hill, Aniekan Udofia, Tim Conlon and Chanel Compton along with musicians Maureen Andary and Kev. O as they react and interact with the Corcoran’s two current exhibits, Sargent and the Sea and Edward Burtynsky: Oil. This month’s Art Salon will be curated by Peter Chang and Shyree Mezick. All artists will be contributing original music and pieces of work to this Art Salon, a juxtaposition of the old and new that you don’t want to miss!
