Artcade party made Wonkette

Wonkette sent intrepid photographer Liz Gorman to cover the Artcade launch party a couple weeks ago. The event was a huge success. (Why am I holding my beer in this awkward manner??) Over 600 people attended! Several Corcoran art students showed their work and all received offers to buy. The music was top-notch and included one of my favorite local bands Deleted Scenes. Most importantly, the party made an important statement - art is fun and art is for everyone! Artcade is changing the stuffy status quo.
