Art and theatre in scary London tunnel

Step into the light: visitors to the Old Vic’s performances in British Rail’s Tunnel 228, under Waterloo station, must wear protective face masks, in a detail planned by the organisers before the swine flu outbreak

An excellent and creative re-use of abandoned space will take place over the next couple weeks when Kevin Spacey temporarily fills Tunnel 228 under the Waterloo Station in London with art and theatre. DC's very own Mark Jenkins is participating in this awesome project. More here.
