Louise Bourgeois at the 'horn
Photo: Christopher BurkeGreat show opened at the Hirshhorn last week: a Louise Bourgeois retrospective covering the 97-year-old's 60+ year career as a sculptor. Reviewed here in the Post. One reason I love her work is that, as Michael O'Sullivan says, "Nothing about Bourgeois's art, it seems, is straightforward or easy."

I'm so excited about this show! I saw a huge exhibit of her work in Boston a few years ago and it was amazing.
