Alice!

I was thrilled, absolutely thrilled, to have had the chance to hang out last week with one of my art idols, Alice Denney. For those who don't know who she is, Alice founded the Washington Project For the Arts back in 1975 and was a creative force in the DC art scene for many years. From what I can tell, she WAS the art scene! If I could accomplish a tenth of what she did, I'd feel pretty darn good.
